Halloween Cocktails
I had the very fun opportunity to join Fox 59 and make Halloween cocktails, my favorite thing on my favorite day! I got to come up with two cocktails, one was a good party centerpiece, the other more of a warm fall sipper. Ever considered pumpkin and tequila?

Hiatus Tequila on Tasty Takeout
Hiatus rep, Brian Glazer, and I visited Wish TV 8 to talk about tequila and Oaxacan Old Fashioneds on National Tequila Day.
This was also a great opportunity for me to talk about the opening of my company’s new restaurant. I went straight from the studio to running the well opening night.
Moscow Mules on Indy Now
I was super excited to return to Indy Now and show Jillian and Ryan some fun twists on the classic Moscow Mule to celebrate National Moscow Mule Day!
I made flavored mules two ways to show how easy it is to customize a classic. One features muddled strawberries and the other features flavored vodka and the addition of bitters in one of my favorite combinations.
Devour Indy Contest Winner 2021
I was beyond honored to win my first in-person cocktail contest for Devour Indy’s Winterfest 2021! The contest itself was exciting, if nerve wracking, and I got to meet and compete with some incredibly talented Indianapolis bartenders.
Jillian and Ryan with Indy Now on Fox 59 invited me to make my winning cocktail on air. It was a great experience, and Cranbrosia was a great drink (if I do say so myself). It was inspired by an old family recipe and it was quite the challenge to get the flavors right.

Whiskey & Smoke at Grindstone Public House
A throwback to more masked times, my General Manager filmed me working on one of my weekly specials at the bar. I’m very grateful for the support my bar has provided in developing my cocktail skills. I wouldn’t be making the drinks I make now without having the room for creativity I’ve been allowed.
This smoked whiskey sour used aquafaba to acheive a thick, full texture without the intimidating effect of a eggwhite.
Reboot Energy Drink Potion
Another remote cocktail contest submission! This was for an energy/hangover drink company that reached out to me. I wanted a witchy potion of a cocktail, so I focused on color and shimmer in the visual.
A French 75 With Court Cecil
Local magician and mixologist, Court Cecil, came to my bar to hang out and try a spring time cocktail. I reccomended a raspberry thyme French 75, because nothing says fresh spring flavors like combing fresh fruit and herbs.
Making fresh purees and syrups yourself is a great way to elevate a cocktail and it’s easier than you might think.
